let the width be y cm
lenght = 2y -5
perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)
a according to question
2{ 2y-5-5+y+2)=74
3y-8= 37
3y = 45
y = 15
then lenght will be
2y-5
2×15-5
25 cm
hence ,
lenght = 25 cm
width = 15 cm
