Given :

⬤ A Rectangle's Length is twice its Width .

⬤ Perimeter of Rectangle is 48 cm .

To Find :

⬤ Length and Width of Rectangle .

Formula Used :

\bf[\:{Perimeter \: of \: Rectangle = 2(l+b)}\:]

  • l = length
  • b = breadth

Solution :

Let :

  • Width of Rectangle be = x .
  • Length of Rectangle be = 2x .

Now :

According to the Formula :-

48 = 2(l + b)

48 = 2(2x + x)

48/2 = 3x

24 = 3x

24/3 = x

8 = x

Therefore , The Value of x is 8 .

Hence ,

Length of Rectangle = 2x

= 2(8)

= 16

Width of Rectangle = x

= 8

Therefore , Length of Rectangle is 16 cm and Breadth of Rectangle is 8 cm .
