LET THE LENGTH AND BREADTH OF RECTANGLE BE 4x AND 3x RESPECTIVELY

The length of diagonal = √l²+b²= 20 cm

= (20)² = (4x)²+(3x)²

= 400 = 16x² + 9x²

= 400 = 25x²

=√ 400 = 25x

= 20 = 25x

therefore , x = 4/5 or 0.8 cm

now, length of rectangle = 4* 0.8 = 3.2 cm

breadth of rectangle= 3*0.8 = 2.4 cm

THEREFORE , the area of rectangle = 3.2 * 2.4= 7.68 cm²
