Since the rectangle is inscribed in the circle,then it's diameter is equals to rectangle's length=5 cm

Breadth=4cm

Area=2(l+b)

2(4+5)

2×9

=18cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

⭐ One side of a rectangle is 4 cm.

⭐ Diameter of a circle is 5 cm.

Find :

The area of rectangle.

Solution :

Using Pythagoras Theorem,

b² = 5² - 4²

b² = 25 - 16

b² = 9

b = √9

b = 3

So,

Length = 4 cm

Breadth = 3 cm

Area of rectangle = L × b

➡ 4 × 3

➡ 12 cm²

Hence :

The area of rectangle is 12 cm².
