Length of the floor=15m
Width of the floor=12m
Area of the floor=length×width
15m×12m=180m²

Side of 1 square stone=50cm
Area of 1 square stone=side²
(50cm)²=2500cm²

1cm²=(1/10000)m²
2500cm²=(2500/10000)m²
2500cm²=0.25m²

Number of tiles required=
Area of floor/Area of each tile
180m²/0.25m²=720 tiles

Cost of 1 tile=Rs.18.50
Cost of 720 tiles=Rs.18.50×720=Rs.13320

Therefore 720 tiles and required and the total cost is Rs.13320
