Answer:

area of remaining sheet = area of full sheet-area of all circles

area of full sheet =l×b

=36×25

=900cm^2

NOW, d=3.5cm

r=3.5/2cm

area of 1 circle=πr^2

=22/7×3.5/2×3.5/2

=9.625cm^2

area of 56 circles =56+9.625

=539cm^2

area of remaining sheet =900-539

=361cm^2

THANKS FOR THE QUESTION !

_______________________________

GIVEN :

=> DIMENSIONS OF A RECTANGULAR SHEET

LENGTH :

=> 36CM

BREADTH :

=> 25CM

_______________________________

AREA OF THE RECTANGULAR SHEET :

=> LENGTH * BREADTH

=> 36 CM * 25 CM

=> 900 CM^2

_______________________________

CONDITION :

=> 56 CIRCLES ARE CUT FROM THAT SHEET :

_______________________________

DIMENSION OF THE CIRCLE :

=> RADIUS :

=> DIAMETER / 2

=> 3.5 / 2 CM

=> 1.75 CM

_______________________________

AREA OF A CIRCLE :

=> π * R^2

=> 22 / 7 * 1.75 CM * 1.75 CM

=> 22 * 0.25 * 1.75

=> 9.625 CM^2

_______________________________

AREA FOR 56 CIRCLES :

=> AREA FOR 1 CIRCLE * NO. OF CIRCLES

=> 9.625 * 56

=> 539 CM^2

_______________________________

AREA OF SHEET STILL REMAINING :

=> AREA OF FULL SHEET - AREA NEEDED FOR THE CIRCLES

=> 900 CM^2 - 539 CM^2

=> 361 CM^2

HOPE IT WILL HELP U ......

THANKS AGAIN .........
