GIVEN :-

  • A rectangular block has dimensions of 25 cm × 20 cm × 10 cm.
  • Mass of rectangular block is 6 kg.

TO FIND :-

  • The density of the block.

SOLUTION :-

Volume of Rectangular block,

➳ Volume = Length × breadth × Height.

➳ Volume = 25 cm × 20 cm × 10 cm.

➳ Volume = 5000 cm³.

Mass of Rectangular block,

➵ Mass = 6 kg.

As we know that 1 kg = 1000 g.

➵ Mass = 6 × 1000 g.

Mass = 6000 g.

Density of Rectangular block,

➳ Density = Mass/volume.

➳ Density = 6000g/5000 cm³.

➳ Density = 1.2 g/cm³

Hence the density of the rectangular block is 1.2 g/cm³.

Given

  • A rectangular block has dimensions 25cm × 20cm × 10cm.

We Find

  • The density of given block.

We Know that

▶️ Volume of rectangle = l × b × h

= 25 × 20 × 10 cm

= 5000 cm³

▶️1 kg = 1000 g

According to the question

( We convert kg into g )

= kg × 1000 = g

= 6 kg × 100

= 6000 g

Then, We Find Density of Rectangular block,

= Density = Mass/volume.

= Density = 6000g/5000 cm³.

= Density = 1.2 g/cm³

So, the density of the rectangular block is 1.2 g/cm³.
