Answer:

H = 2 CM

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that ,

A reactangular block   is formed by joining together 24 cubes, each with 1 cm edges.

To find the height of rectangular block if their perimeter is 16 cm.

So,

Let the length = l

and width = b

perimeter of rectangular block = 2(l+b)

     2(l+b) = 16 cm

        l + b = 8 cm

    block is rectangular , we can take l = 6 and b = 2.

Volume of rectangular block = l × b × h = 24 cm³

                                                  6 × 2 × h = 24

                                                              h = 24 / 12

                                                              h = 2 cm

therefore , the height of rectangular block = 2cm .
