a rectangular block of 6 kg has base of length 10 cm and breadth 5 cm.calculate the pressure it exerts​

Mass of Rectangular block = 6 kg

Dimensions of the rectangular block = (10cm*5cm)

If I assume the acceleration due to gravity as 9.8 m/s²,

Then Force exerted will be = Mass*Acceleration

= (6*9.8) N

= 58.8 N

Area of the rectangular block = (10*5) cm²

= 50 cm²

Pressure exerted on the rectangular block is = Force/Area

= 58.8/50 Pa

= 1.176 Pa
