Dimension of box :

• Length,l = 20 cm
• Breadth , b = 6 cm
• height , h = 4 cm

To Find :

No cubes of side 2 cm that will fit into the box

Solution:

We have to find the number of cubes of side 2 cm that will fit into the box

Volume of box

$\sf\blue{V=length\:\times\:breadth\:\times\:Height}$

$\sf\implies\:V=20\times6\times4$

$\sf\implies\:V=20\times24$

$\sf\implies\:V=480cm^3$

Volume of cube

$\sf=(side)^3$

$\sf=(2)^3$

$\sf=8cm^3$

Now , No of cubes side 2 cm that will fit into the box=$\sf\dfrac{Volume\:of\:box}{Volume\:of\:cube}$$\sf=\dfrac{480}{8}$

$\sf=60$

Therefore , No cubes of side 2 cm that will fit into the box is 60
