Given:

Dimension of box :

  • Length,l = 20 cm
  • Breadth , b = 6 cm
  • height , h = 4 cm

To Find :

No cubes of side 2 cm that will fit into the box

Solution:

We have to find the number of cubes of side 2 cm that will fit into the box

Volume of box

\sf\blue{V=length\:\times\:breadth\:\times\:Height}

\sf\implies\:V=20\times6\times4

\sf\implies\:V=20\times24

\sf\implies\:V=480cm^3

Volume of cube

\sf=(side)^3

\sf=(2)^3

\sf=8cm^3

Now , No of cubes side 2 cm that will fit into the box=\sf\dfrac{Volume\:of\:box}{Volume\:of\:cube}\sf=\dfrac{480}{8}

\sf=60

Therefore , No cubes of side 2 cm that will fit into the box is 60
