L = 2 m

B = 3 m

sand  needed to fill the box upto a depth of 12 cm​

H = 12 cm = 12/100 m  

Volume of sand = LBH

= 2 * 3 * 12/100

= 72/100

= 0.72  m³

0.72  m³ sand  needed to fill the box upto a depth of 12 cm​
