a rectangular box of 20 cm into 10 cm into 5 cm exerts a force of 100 N. Calculate the pressure exerted by (1) the least area of the box (2)maximum area of the box

  1. least area =2(10+5)

=30cm²

F=100N

P=F/A

=100/30

=10/3

=3.33 pascals

2. largest area=2(20+10)

=60cm²

F=100N

P=F/A

=100/60

=10/6

=1.66 pascals
