breadth of the courtyard = 13m20cm or
1320cm
now, size of 1 square tile = HCF OF L and B ²
=24²
so number of tiles = area of courtyard/area of
tile
= (1320×1872) ÷ (24×24)
= 2471040 ÷ 576
= 4290
Answer = 4290 tiles
