Given :

  • Length of courtyard = 4.55m
  • Breadth of courtyard = 5.25 m

To find :

  • Largest size of the title used for the purpose

Solution :

Given ,

  • Length of courtyard = 4.55m

Now we have to convert m to cm by multiplying the 100 so we get ,

》4.55 × 100

》455cm

Hence, Length of courtyard is 455cm

  • Breadth of courtyard = 5.25 m

Now we have to convert m to cm by multiplying the 100 so we get ,

》5.25 × 100

》525cm

Hence , Breadth of courtyard is 525cm

Now we have to find the largest size of the tile .. so firstly we need to find the HCF of 455 and 525 then,

》455 = 13 × 7 × 5

》525 = 5 × 7 × 5 × 3

HCF of 455 and 525 = 5 × 7 = 35

Hence , The largest size of the tile used is 35 cm
