A rectangular courtyard has to be paved with marble. The length of the courtyard is 24 m and
its width is 18 m. If the area of each square shaped marble slab is 900 cm?, how many marble
slabs will be required to pave the courtyard?​

Area of courtyard = 24 × 18 = 432 m²

Area of marble slab = 900 cm² = 9

No. of marble slabs required to pave the courtyard = 432 / 9 = 48
