a rectangular Courtyard is 18m 72cm long and 13m 20cm broad it is to be paved with square tiles of the same size and the least possible number of such tile?

Hey mate here is ur solution...

Lenghth of the rectangle courtyard =18m 72cm

Lenghth converted into centimeters =1872cm

Breadth of the rectangle courtyard =13m 20cm

Breadth converted into centimeters =1320cm

Now,We have to find the H.C.F..
And H. C. F of 1872 and 1320 is 24..


Hence, 24 are the least possible no. of tiles that can be used to pave the courtyard...
