Answer:

volume of cube=a^3

=8^3

=512 cubic centimetre

now 1 cubic centimetre of iron weighs =8 gram

so,

512 cubic centimetre if iron weighs = (512×8)gram

= 4096 gram or 4kg 96 gram

Volume of large cube = 512 cm³ and

Weight of the cube = 4096 grams

Given:

The side of a rectangular cube = 8 cm

Weight of 1 cubic cube = 8 gram

To find:

what is its volume and weight of large cube

Solution:

Given side of a rectangular cube = 8 cm

As we know

           Volume of cube = side³

Volume of the given cube = (8 cm)³ = 512 cm³

Volume of large cube = 512 cm³

Given weight of cube with volume 1 cm³ = 8 grams

⇒ weight of cube with volume 512 cm³ = 8 grams × 512 = 4096 grams

Weight of the cube = 4096 grams

Therefore,

Volume of large cube = 512 cm³ and Weight of the cube = 4096 grams
