Volume of the metallic cuboid
= l × b × h
= 2 × 3 × 4 = 24 cubic cm.
The smallest cube nearer to 24 is 27.
Therefore,
The minimum amount of metal to
be added = 3 cubic cm.
Thus
the volume of the cube formed
= 27 cubic cm.
But a^3 = 27
a = 3 cm.
Hence the length of side of the cube formed
is 3 cm .
I hope this answer help you.
