A rectangular field has 80 m length and 48m breadth . Three roads each of width 2m pass through the field such that two roads are parallel to breadth and the third road parallel to length . Find area covered by three roads.

Area covered by road

48 x 2 x 2 = 192

80 x 2 = 160

192 + 162 - 4 x 2 = 192 + 154 = 246
 
Area covered by road = 246
