Given..

width is 13m more than length..

Let Length be X..the width will be x+13

we know that...

Area of a rectangle= L ×B

Given Area = 1764m^2.

substituting..

x(x+13) = 1764

x^2 +13x - 1764 =0

x^2 + 49x - 36x - 1764=0

x(x+49) - 36(x+49) =0

(x-36)(x+49) = 0

x = 36 or -49.. ignoring negative value..coz length wont be negative..

so length = x= 36

width= x+13 = 36+13 = 49

Perimeter of a rectangle= 2(L + B)

=2(36 + 49)

=2(85)

=170sqm

So option 'C' is the answer...
