Perimeter =2(l+b)

l=x

b=3x

perimeter =160 cm.

Substituting values for l and b

2(x+3x)=160

2x+6x=160

8x=160

x=160/8 = 20cm

length = x = 20 cm

breadth = 3x = 3×20=60cm
