Answer:

Length of the wire needed = 1380 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of the rectangular field = 180 m

Breadth of the rectangular field = 165 m

Length of the wire needed = 2 * perimeter of the rectangular field

                                             = 2 * (2(length + breadth))

                                             = 2 * (2( 180 + 165) m

                                             = 2* (690) m

Length of the wire needed = 1380 m

Answer:

The length of the wire is 1380 m.

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of rectangular field =180 m

Breadth of rectangular field=165 m

      Perimeter of field=2 x ( length + breadth)

                                    = 2 x (165+180)

                                    = 2 x 345

                                     = 690 m

∴The required length of the wire =2 x Perimeter of field

                                                           = 2 x 690 m

                                                           = 1380 m

Thus 1380 m long wire is required to fenced the rectangular field.
