Ratio of :

  • Length to its breadth = 5 : 4
  • Breadth to its perimeter = 2 : 9

As we know that the area of rectangle

➠ l × b

➠ 100 × 80

So, it is clear from the given information that,

  • Length = 100 m
  • Breadth = 80 m

To Find :

Ratio of :

  • length to breadth
  • breadth to perimeter

SoluTion :

Let us find the ratio's respectively,

(I) Length to breadth :

➥l / b

➥100 / 80

➥5 / 4

  • Ratio = 5 : 4

━━━━━━━━━━━━

Now, let us find the perimeter, ➠Perimeter = 2 ( l + b )

➠Perimeter = 2 ( 100 + 80 )

➠Perimeter = 2 ( 180 )

Perimeter = 360

(II) Breadth to perimeter :

➥ b / p

➥ 80 / 360

➥ 2 / 9

  • Ratio = 2 : 9

1) Length to it's Breadth :-

➨ Perimeter = 2 (180)

Perimeter = 360 m

2) Breadth to it's perimeter :-

➨ Breadth/Perimeter

➨ 80/360

➨ 2/9

Ratio of breadth to it's perimeter is 2:9.
