Answer: 57.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

Length of the field is 16 1/2

Width of the field is 12 2/5

Perimeter=2(l+b)

                 = 2(33/2+62/5)

                 = 2[{(5 x 33)+(2 x 62)}/10]

                 = 2([165+124]/10]          (Here 2 gets cancelled with 10)

                 = 289/5

                 = 57.5

Hope it helps you

Thank you,

Answer:

length of field = 16 1/2m

width of field = 12 2/5

perimeter of rectangle = 2x(l+b)

2x (16 1/2 x 12 2/5)

= 2x (33/2+62/5)

take L.C.M

=2x(165+124/10)

= 2x289/10 , 10 and 2 gets cancelled

= 57 4/5 is the answer
