 \textbf {Hey there, here is the solution.}

.............................................................................................

Perimeter = 208 m (given)

Define x:

Let the breadth be x

The length = x + 16

.

Solve x:

Perimeter = 2 (Length + Breadth)

208 = 2(x + 16 + x)

208 = 2(2x + 16)

208 = 4x + 32

4x = 176

x = 44 m

.

Find the length and breadth:

Breadth = x = 44 m

Length = x + 16 = 44 + 16 = 60 m

.

Find the area;

Area = Length x Breadth

Area = 44 x 60 = 2640 m²

.

Answer: The area is 2640 m²

L= w+16

2L+2W= 208

L+W= 104

A=LW

use substitution method

w+16+w = 104

2w+16=104

2w=104-16

2w= 88

w=44

l=44+16 = 60

A= 44 x 60

A=2640 m^2

niloy72: area=44×60=2640ms
