Answer: 221 m²

Step-by-step explanation

Area of the rectangle field

Length = 20 m

Breadth = 16 m

Area = (20×16) m² = 320 m²

Inner Lawn

Length = {20-(1.5+1.5)} m = 17 m

Breadth = {16-(1.5+1.5)} m = 13 m

Area = (17×13) m² = 221 m²

Area of the inner lawn is 221 m²

Answer:

268.25 sq.m

Step-by-step explanation:

area of rectangle is length and breadth.

a = l x b

20 x 16 = 320 sq.m (area of field)

-1.5m of path

18.5 x 14.5 = 268.25 sq.m (area of inner lawn)

268.25 sq.m is the answer
