Length = (25+2.5+2.5)=25+5=30m
Breadth =(21+2.5+2.5)=21+5=26m
Area of rectangular field =30*26=780m2
cost of levelling =780*5=3900 rupee

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Length= 25m+2.5m+2.5m=30m

Now area of one side length of the strip

30m*2.5m=75 sq. m

Area of both side=75*2=150 sq. m

Now breadth=21m-2.5m-2.5m=16m

Area of breadth of the strip=16m*2.5m= 40sq. m

Area of both breath=40sq. m*2= 80 sq. m

Thus total area of the strip around the field is,

=80sq. m + 150sq. m

=230sq. m

So the total cost= 5*230= 1150 rupees
