area of rectangular field= l×b
=280m×100m
=28000 meter square
area of first road=l×b
=12×100=1200 metre square
area of second road= l×b
=12×280
=3360 metre square
area of square so formed =s×s.
=12×12
=144 metre square

area of roads =3360+1200-144
=3360+1056
=4416 metre square
