\mathfrak{\bf{\underline{\underline{Answer \ :}}}}

  • Length of the rectangular field is 450 m
  • Breadth of the rectangular field is 250 m

We've to find the cost of putting a fence around it a rate of 50 paise per meter.

⠀⠀⠀⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⠀⠀

Now, Using Rectangle's perimeter Formula :

{\dag} \: {\underline{\boxed{\sf{\purple{ Perimeter = 2(Length + Breadth)}}}}}

Length & Breadth are Given. Substitute values :

:\implies\sf 2(450 + 250) \\\\\\:\implies\sf 2 (700)  \\\\\\:\implies\boxed{\frak{\pink{\ 1400 \ }}}

⠀⠀⠀⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀

Finding Cost at 50 paise per metre :

We'll divide it by 100.

:\implies\sf 1400 \times 50 \\\\\\:\implies\sf \dfrac{\cancel{1400} \times 50}{\cancel{ 100}} \\\\\\:\implies\boxed{\frak{\pink{\: 700 \: }}}

{\therefore} \ \underline{\sf{Cost \ at \ 50 \ paise \ per \ metre\ is \ 700 \ Rs.}}

Length of rectangular field = 450m

Breadth of rectangular field = 250m

So,

perimeter = 2(l+b)

p = 2(450+250)

p = 2 x 700m

p = 1400m

Now, cost of fencing 1m = 50 paise

cost of fencing 1400m =

 \frac{1400 \times 50}{100}

= Rs. 700

Hope it helps you.
