Given :

  • Length and Breadth of a Rectangular field is 450m and 250m.

To Find :

  • Cost of putting a fence around it at rate of 50 paisa per metre.

Solution :

Firstly we will find Perimeter of Rectanglular Field :

\longmapsto\tt{Length=450m}

\longmapsto\tt{Breadth=250m}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Perimeter\:of\:Rectangle=2(l+b)}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{2(450+250)}

\longmapsto\tt{2(700)}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{1400cm}

So , Perimeter of Field is 1400cm..

Now ,

Cost of Putting a fence around it at 50 p per metre :

\longmapsto\tt{\dfrac{14{\cancel{00}}\times{50}}{1{\cancel{00}}}}

\longmapsto\tt{14\times{50}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{Rs.700}

So , Cost of fencing the field at the Rate of 50 p is Rs.700.

  • A rectangular field is 450m length and 250m broad.

\rm\boxed\checkmark\textsf{\textbf{\pink{To Find :-}}}

  • The cost of putting a fence around it a rate of 50 paise per meter.

\rm\boxed\checkmark\textsf{\textbf{\pink{Solution :-}}}

  • Perimeter of rectangular field

\implies{\textsf{\textbf{Lenght = 450m.}}}

\implies{\textsf{\textbf{Breadth = 250m.}}}

  • Formula

\implies{\textsf{\textbf{Perimeter = 2(L + B)}}}

  • Value

\implies{\textsf{2 × (450 + 250)}}

\implies{\textsf{2 × 700}}

\implies{\textsf{\textbf{1400m.}}}

Perimeter = 1400m.

Now,

  • Putting one fence around field = 50p.

\implies 1400 × 50/100

\implies{\textsf{14 × 50}}

\implies{\textsf{\textbf{₹700}}}

\rm\boxed\checkmark Cost of fencing field = ₹700.
