A rectangular field is 50m by 40m.It has two roads through its center, running parallel to its sides.The width of the longer and the shorter road are 2m and 2.5-m-respectively.Find the area of the roads and the area of remaining portion of the field

Area of roads:

Bigger road- 50*2.5m = 125m square

smaller road- 40*2= 80m square

Area of the total field = 50*40= 2000m square

Area of the field asked = 2000msquare- ( 125+ 80 )
