Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of rectangular field= 60m

length of rectangular field=x m

breadth of rectangular field=(x-15)m

Formula of ,

perimeter of rectangle

=2(l)+2(b)

therefore,

60m=2(l)+2(b)

60=2(x)+2(x-15)

60=2x+2x-30

60+30=4x

90=4x

x=90/4

x=22.5

length of rectangular field=x=22.5

breadth of rectangular field=(x-15)

=(22.5-15)

=7.5

cost of fencing 1m=Rs.3

cost of fencing 60m=3×60

=Rs.180

formula of ,

area of rectangle= l×b

=22.5×7.5

=168.75 m^2

Cost of turfing 1m^2 of field= Rs.2.50

Cost of turfing 168.75m^2 of field

= 2.50×168.75

=Rs. 421.875

~Rs.422
