Answer:

Cost of turfing the rectanglar field is  ₹ 5,850 and Cost of fencing the rectanglar field is ₹ 880

Step-by-step explanation:

Length (L) of the rectangular field = 65 m

Width (W) of the rectangular field   = 45 m

Area of the rectanglar field = L * W = 65 * 45 = 2,925‬ sq. m.

Cost of turfing 1 square metre = ₹ 2.

Cost of turfing 2925 square metre = ₹ 2 * 2925 = ₹ 5,850

Perimeter of the rectanglar field = 2( L + W) = 2(65 + 45) = 2 * 110 = 220 m

Cost of fencing 1 metre  = ₹ 4

Cost of fencing 220 metre  = ₹ 4 * 220 = ₹ 880

Cost of turfing the rectanglar field is  ₹ 5,850 and Cost of fencing the rectanglar field is ₹ 880

AnswEr :

  • Rectangular Field 65m long and 45m wide.
  • Find Cost of Turfing @ Rs.2 per m²
  • Find Cost of Fencing @ Rs.4 per m²

Cost Of Turfing of Grasses:

⇒ Area of Field = Length × Breadth

⇒ Area = 65m × 45m

⇒ Area = 2925 m²

⇒ Cost of Turfing = Area × Rate

⇒ Cost of Turfing = 2925m² × Rs. 2

Cost of Turfing = Rs. 5,850

Cost of Fencing of Boundaries:

⇒ Perimeter of Field = 2 (Length + Breadth)

⇒ Perimeter = 2 × ( 65m + 45m )

⇒ Perimeter = 2 × 110m

⇒ Perimeter = 220 m

⇒ Cost of Fencing = Perimeter × Rate

⇒ Cost of Fencing = 220m × Rs. 4

Cost of Fencing = Rs. 880
