the perimeter of the field is 2(l+b)=260m
convert 3km/hr in m/s=5/6m/s
2 rounds of the field gives the total length is 520m
so, the time taken to 2 rounds of the field is 520*6/5=624s=10min24sec

Answer:10 min 24 secs

Step-by-step explanation:

1.First take out the

perimeter=2(72×58)m=260m.

2.Then, take out the double of field to

see how much distance he covers

in 2 rounds=2×260m=520m

3.Take out the speed he walks in 1.

min=3000/60m=50m.

4.Since, time needed to walk 2

times around the field is

Distance/Speed=Time. Therfore,

520/50 mins=10.4 mins

5.Then, convert these mins to

secs=10.4 min=624 secs.

6.Last step, convert 624 secs into

mins=624/60 mins= 10 mins 24

secs.
