A rectangular field is 75 m long and 50 m wide . find the cost of 1) turfing at rs 30/ m square. 2) fencing at rs 10/m.

Area = L x B
= 50 x 75
= 3750m^2
Cost of turfing = Area x cost of 1 m
=3750 x 50
=Rs 187500
Perimeter = 2(L+B)
=2(75+50)
=2(125)
=250 m
Cost of fencing = 250 x 10
= Rs 2500

1) area= l x b
=75x50
=3750m^2
Cost=3750 x 30
=187500 rs

2)perimeter =2(l+b)
=2(75+50)
=2 x 125
=250m
Cost=250 x 10
=2500 rs
