A rectangular field is fenced with 300 m. long wire.find the dimensions of the plot if its lenght is twice its breath.​

let breadth be 'x' and length 2x

2(x+2x)=300

3x=150

x=50

thus breadth = 50cm

length = 2x= 2×50= 100cm

Breath = y

now, given that:

X=2y.

and,

2x + 2y = 300

X + y = 150

2y + y = 150

3y = 150

y = 50.

therefore, length of the rectangle is 100 and breath is 50 m.
