To find:
We have to find the area of rectangle in terms of x
Solution:
Let length of rectangle = L
Then Width = L/2
Now perimeter = 2( Length + Breadth )
x = 2( L + L/2)
x = 3L _ _(1)
Area = ( Length × Breadth )
= ( L × L/2 )
= ( 3L²/2 )
But from (1) we get L= x/3
