Given:

A rectangular field has its length twice than it's width and area is 14450 square meter

To find:

Length and width = ?

Solution:

Let x be the width of rectangular field.

Let x be the width of rectangular field. So, usually 2x will be the length

 \\ \\ Area \: of \: rectangle \: = l \times b \\ \\ where \: l \: = \: length \\ \\ b = breadth \: or \: width

 \\ Area \: of \: rectagular \: field \: \\ 14450 = 2x \times x \\ \\ 14450= 2x {}^{2} \\ \\ \dfrac{14450}{2} = x {}^{2} \\ \\

 \\ \\ 7225 = x {}^{2} \\ \\ 85 = x

Substituting value of x in length and width, we get

 \\ \: l = 2x \\ \\ l = 2 \times 85 \\ \\ l = 170 \: m \\ \\ length \: is \: 170 \: m

 \\ b = x \\ \\ b = 85 \: m \\ \\ breadth \: \: is \: \: 85 \: m

Required answer:

Thus, in rectangular field length is 170 meter and breadth is 85 meter
