a rectangular field measures 400 m by 100 m and a square field 200 m by 200 m. do the two field requires more fencing and by how much? which field requires more fencing and by how much ? (hint: length of fencing =perimeter = sum of all sides }

perimeter of rectangular field =2(l+b)
=2(100+400)
=2*500
=1000m
perimeter of square field =4*sides
=4*200
=800m
difference in perimeter =1000-800=200m
rectangular field needs more fencing
and it needs 200 m more fence
