A rectangular field of 150 m by 100 m has a 10 m path around it. Find the area of the path.

Answer:

length=150m

breadth=100m

so, area=l×b

=150×100

=15000m square

Width of path=10m

so, area of the path=(150×10) +(100×10) ×2

=1500+1000×2

=2500×2

=5000msquare
