Area of rectangular field

= l×b

= 150×100

= 15000 square. meter

Length of rectangle with path

= 150 + 10 + 10

= 170 m

Breadth of rectangular field with path

= 100 + 10 + 10

= 120 m

Area of rectangular field with path

= l × b

= 170 × 120

= 20400 square metres

Area of path = Area of Field with path - Area of field

= 20400 - 15000

= 5400 sq.metre

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of path is 5400 sq m

Length of the rectangular field = 150m (Given)

Breadth of the rectangular field = 100m (Given)

Area of the path = 10m (Given)

Area of rectangular field = l × b

= 150 × 100

= 15000 sq m

Length of the rectangular path

= 150 + 10 + 10

= 170m

Breadth of rectangular path

= 100 + 10 + 10

= 120m

Area of rectangular path = l × b

= 170 × 120

= 20400 sq m

Total area of the path = Total area of field path - Total area of field

= 20400 - 15000

= 5400 sqm
