Let G be the center of gravity point.

M be the point above G. B be the point below G. O be the point below B on the rim of floating body.

MB = I / V =  (1/12 x 20 x 5^ 4) / ( 20 x 5 x 1.5 ) = 1.4 m

OB = 1.5 /2 = 0.75

OG = 1.8 m (Given)

BG = OG - OB = 1.8 - 0.75 = 1.05 m

MG (Meta centric) = MB - BG = 1.4 - 1.05 = 0.35 m
