length of rectangular floor = 75m

width of rectangular floor = 50m

Area of rectangular floor = l*b

= 75*50m

=3750 sq.m

length of outer boundary = 75m+2*50cm

= 75m+1m

=76m

width of outer boundary = 50m+2*50cm

= 50m+1m

= 51m

Area of outer boundary = l*b

=76m*51m

= 3876 sq.m

Remaining area = area of outer boundary-area of rectangular floor

= 3876m-3750m

= 126m

cost per sq.m = Rs45

cost of making border = Rs45*126m

= Rs 5670
