area of outer rectangle = 30*25=750 m2

dimension for inner rectange will be 30 - (2.5 + 2.5) and 25 - ( 2.5+2.5) i.e. 25m and 20 m

so area of inner rectangle = 25*20= 500 m2

so area of the path = 750 - 500 = 250 m2
