given length of the whole rectangle= 30

and the bredth given = 25m

area of the whole rectangle

==>(L × B)
==> 30 × 25
==> 750 m^2

area of path :

first by removing the 2.5m width..

==>30 - 2.5 - 2.5
==> 30 - 5
==> 25m

also from other side ..

==>25 - 2.5 - 2.5
==> 25-5
==> 20m

now,

area of inner rectangle :

==> 25 × 20
==> 500m^2

outer rectangle- inner one = area of path.

==> 750 - 500

==> 250m^2
