Given: 1) Length of the rectangular garden = 120m
2) width of the rectangular garden = 90m
3) radius of the circular tank in the middle of the garden = 21m
4) cost of turfing the remaining portion of the garden = rs 4.50 per square metre

To find: cost of turfing the remaining garden
So,
area of the remaining portion of the garden = area of the rectangular garden - area of the circular tank

So the area of the rectangular garden = length x width
= 120m x 90m
=10,800m

And, the area of the circular tank = 22/7 x r x r
= 22/7 x 21 x 21
= 22 x 21 x 3
= 462 x 3
=1386m

Therefore, the area of the remaining garden is 10800m - 1386m = 9414m

So, the cost of turfing the remaining garden = 9414m x Rs 4.50 per square metre
= Rs 42,363
