a rectangular garden is 124 M long and 92 M wide. Find the cost of making a 3 M wide path around it at the rate of rupees 160 per square metre

Area of Road = Area with road -Area of Garden

A= (124+6)×(92+6) - (124×92)

A= 12740 - 11408

A= 1332 sqm

Cost of making road =1332×160=Rs. 213120
