ɢɪᴠᴇɴ :-
- Length (l) = 36 m
- Breadth (b) = 24 m
ᴛᴏ ғɪɴᴅ :-
- Length of Longest tape (Diagonal)
Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-
On using Pythagoras theorem, we get,
➤ Digaonal² = length² + breadth²
➭ d² = l² + b²
➭ d² = (36)² + (24)²
➭ d² = 1296 + 576
➭ d² = 1872
➭ d = √1872
➭ d = 43.26 m
Hence,
- Length of longest tape (Diagonal) is 43.26m

Given :-
• A length (l) of rectangular garden is 36 m.
• And breath (b) of rectangular garden is 24m.
To Find :-
•The length of longest tape .
Solution :-
•Applying Pythagoras theorem , we get
• (Diagonal)² = (Length)² + (Breath)²
=> d² = l² + b²
=> d² = 36² + 24²
=> d² = 1296 + 576
=> d² = 1872
=> d = √1872
=> d = 43.26 m.
Therefore, the length of longest tape is 43.26 m.
