ɢɪᴠᴇɴ :-

  • Length (l) = 36 m
  • Breadth (b) = 24 m

ᴛᴏ ғɪɴᴅ :-

  • Length of Longest tape (Diagonal)

Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

On using Pythagoras theorem, we get,

Digaonal² = length² + breadth²

= +

d² = (36)² + (24)²

d² = 1296 + 576

d² = 1872

d = √1872

d = 43.26 m

Hence,

  • Length of longest tape (Diagonal) is 43.26m

Given :-

• A length (l) of rectangular garden is 36 m.

• And breath (b) of rectangular garden is 24m.

To Find :-

•The length of longest tape .

Solution :-

•Applying Pythagoras theorem , we get

(Diagonal)² = (Length)² + (Breath)²

=> d² = l² + b²

=> d² = 36² + 24²

=> d² = 1296 + 576

=> d² = 1872

=> d = √1872

=> d = 43.26 m.

Therefore, the length of longest tape is 43.26 m.
