A rectangular garden is 60m long and 16m broad .A path of uniform width of 2m surrounds the garden inside it. Find the area of the path and the remaining area of the garden. Also, find the cost of paving the path with bricks at ₹20per square metre

area of path=60x2=120

2m is the breadth of path

so remaining area =56×11=840 sq.mtr

path area=960-840=120 sq.mtr

palving cost =120×20= ₹ 2400
