A rectangular garden is 65cm long and 50cm wide. Two cross paths each 2 metre
wide are to be constructed parallel to the sides. If these paths pass through
the centre of the garden, find the cost of constructing the paths at the rate
Rs 62 per metre square​

(question is miss typed. Either the length and breadth should be in metres or the width of path should be in centi metres.)

Let the dimensions of park be in m

Area of path

=> Area of both parh - Area of common square at centre

=> 65 * 2 + 50 * 2 - 2 * 2

=> 130 + 100 - 4

=> 230 - 4

=> 226 sq. m

Now, cost= Area * Rate

= 226 * 62

= ₹14012
